What is entertainment?
I think it's fair to say that ever since Animal Crossing: New Horizons came out, it dominated my my attention-span for the next 4 months.
Now that it's slowed down a bit, I'm dabbling back in a few staple games and watching some anime when available.
I was inspired to pick back up Katamary Damacy: Reroll on Switch after beating it, to enjoy the simpleness of the game. Minecraft had a similar small pique in interest after some friends wanted to try playing bedrock edition for the first time after some new updates. Right now, I also play that on the Switch because I don't have a suitable PC to play it on (but it's really the mods on Java edition I miss).
I've wanted to pick Disgaea 5 back up, but I would get to a point that reminded me, ah, I stopped to grind for this. I'm not quite in the mood for that again--same with Labyrinth, which I left off Pretty close to the first ending of the game (I don't know if I'll have the resolve to get the true ending which involves all the stronger meta bosses).
One show I wasn't expecting to get into was Fire Force, a disappointingly-less-gay-Promare action series, but still with some intriguing mystery and beautiful animation. I binged the first season and caught up to the second season right before my work life picked up, so I have to go back and see what I've missed so far.
The other show I watched in its entirety was My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! which was a nice comedy to balance things out. I'm not sure how I feel about the implied second season when things seemed to wrap up nicely in the last episode. It might have to got the Food Wars treatment of everything after X season will not be acknowledged.
There's a few Netflix shows I need to sit down and watch, like She-Ra, since I've heard so many good things about it. Getting to rewatch AtLA was a real treat though, and I think any new shows may have to take a back seat to me rewatching Korra when it's available.
OH and also going through webtoons lately. I may... make a post about that separately another day since that's a whole thing.
